Comparative Analysis

This part of the exam requires you to compare three texts:

  1. A literary extract: poem, bit of prose or extract from a script
  2. A transcript of spontaneous speech
  3. A media or non-fiction extract

There will be a link between the texts (probably subject matter, but it could also be purpose or audience), but otherwise the texts will be quite different.  The paper will tell you what that link is - it’s not a guessing game.
